Development

I took this brochure to class as a final and recived feedback and the brochure was too unresolved. Too many elements were being poorly commmunicated at once and it wasnt working.



I 


i broke the spread into two. instead of using the whole page for information.                              

i dont like the format of my map its too flat and hard to read. the map needs further developmentNo sense of hierachy

I used morse code for each location spelling the name of the  fortification in it

I  also started to incorporate my symbols

As an attempt to develop my brochure even further i tried this and attempted to incorporate pattern and more textures into my brochure.

 I also finished my icons which i have yet to create a key for in these screenshots.

I think there are too many icons and i should make it more basic , less is more.

I'm not happy with the direction this current development is going and i feel as if i may need to start again because its not working and i'm trying to incorporate too many elements at once. I need a more sophisticated and simplistic approach.Focussing on only a small amount of design elements really well.
